Does Glaspak provide conceptual design services?
Yes, we do. Conceptual designs may come in the form of sketches or 2D drawings as per request. Each conceptual design would require a period of within 3-5 days depending on the complexity of the design.
What information is required for a conceptual design to be produced?
The following information would facilitate the design process:-
The volume per annum
The type of depalletizer used
The type of bottle color desired
Type of product filled into bottle.
Amount of product to be filled
Special filling process involved (hot/cold fill, carbonation, pasteurization)
The capping type
Restrictions on the bottle (if any)
Headspace required (if any specific)
Capping insert used (if any)
Label restrictions / embossments (if any)
Specific bottle dimensions (if any)
What are the stages involved in producing a conceptual design?
Enquiry through sales personnel.
Information required is adequately provided
Identifying required headspace, finish type and glass thickness required according to product fill.
Initial sketch/2D simple drawing design.
Technical drawing produced.
Costing is determined.
The capping type
  Upon customer’s approval, production will be scheduled.
